Q: Do you accept insurance?  A: Lemon Tree Therapy & Wellness is a self-pay private practice only so I do not accept insurance. To pay for your sessions, you can use a credit card to be kept on file or your HSA/FSA accounts. I can also provide you with a receipt for your session. Then, you can submit it to your insurance to see if they can provide you with potential reimbursement. I recommend calling your insurance and ask the following questions to check if you have out-of-network mental health benefits: Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? If so, what percentage will be reimbursed to me? Am I able to use these benefits for telehealth? What is my deductible for out of network coverage and has it been met? How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
Q: How long will I be in therapy?  A: Every person is different. Most of my clients see me weekly or bi-weekly. Some alternate virtual and in-person. It truly just depends on your needs and goals. Some clients will start out with sessions often and then taper back once they're in a good space or they might even take breaks and come back as needed during other times in their life. At the end of the day, therapy is catered to you.
Q: What is the cancellation policy? A: Please provide at least 24 hours notice to either cancel or reschedule your session. If you cancel less than 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged for the late notice. You may cancel via text, email, or phone call.
Q: Do I have to be in Texas to work with you? A: Yes, you must be physically located in Texas at your appointment to receive therapy services.
